Anyone who knows me personally knows that I'm a lover, not a fighter. In fact, I'm possibly the biggest sap you've ever met, and I thought of a flattering way to think of Blake Belladonna for all you romance nuts out there, and I think of this as a way of compensating for my loneliness of Valentine's Day in the future. But enough of me talking. You want sappiness, I've got it. So, HERE WE GO!
The snow crunched under (m/n)'s feet as he trudged toward Beacon, gift under his arm. On it was a little black bow, reminiscent of his stoic girlfriend's. A cold gust of wind blew past him, and he pulled up the scarf around his neck. It was a dark black, yarn-made strip of endless cloth, and the loose ends fluttered in the freezing air. The tremendous building loomed over him, and he could see some couples in their rooms... *cough* copulating. With a small blush, he thought, That might be me later.
The second he strode into Beacon, he pulled the scarf away from his face and pulled off the dull (fav. color) beanie from his head, his (animal) ears poking out of his now-flattened hair. Almost immediately Ruby came out of nowhere, her cloak billowing behind her like a hero's cape. She seemed somewhat out of breath, by the way she was panting.
"Oh, good! You're back!" She cheered, her smile splitting her face. "Everyone's wondering where you went!"
"Neptune needed help finding a gift for Weiss, so I thought I'd pick something up for Blake," he explained. "Where is she, by the way?"
Ruby tilted her head to the side- a trait she picked up by hanging around the boy too much. "I think she went out to get you something. Maybe she forgot and was pulling a last-minute thing," she theorized.
"Great minds think alike," (m/n) muttered.
"Oh, Ruby~" came a call from down the hall. Yang's voice hade a jubilant air to it.
"Gotta go! Good luck with Blake, (Nickname)!" And with that, the red-cloaked reaper darted down to her dorm.
Before (M/n) stopped at his room, he dropped off the package in front of Blake's room- the door was closed, and from the sound of Yang's evil cackling, it was for good reason. On top of the box was a note that read, For Blake's eyes only. I'm looking at you, Yang!
Blake trudged back to her room, her coat billowing behind her. Her amber eyes stared into the nothing that was the corridor, stopping occasionally to check room numbers for (M/n)'s room- she still hadn't memorized it. Finally, she found her dorm and entered, finding it strangely barren. On her bed was a small bundle of things wrapped in shiny black paper, the strings a brilliant white, and a cute black bow on top. Next to it was an envelope that had "To: Blake" written on the front.
Curiosity won't kill this cat, she thought with trepidation as she grabbed the letter. Opening the letter, she found an amazing Valentine's Day poem, which read:
What I See
They say her eyes are amber,
But that's not it at all.
To me, they're the color of whiskey in a glass, outside when the sky catches fire.
They say her skin is soft,
But that hardly does her justice.
To me, her skin is velvet, beautiful and soft.
They say her hair is smooth;
That just scratches the surface.
To me, her hair is silk, like a cat's fur.
They say she's a killer...
Why, that's no good at all.
To me, she's an angel, unleashing her wrath how she pleases.
They say she is a person,
But that's just the start.
To me, she's perfect; a masterpiece in her own right.
To me, she's amazing; glorious to behold and to know.
To me, she's too good for me, and I can only marvel,
Day after day, how I came to love such an angel,
And how she came to love me.
At least, that's what she is to me.
With love,
(M/n)
Blake stared at the letter with wide eyes, barely moving. Often, her beloved was tripping over his words non-stop, and now he was a poet!
The more you know, I guess.
(M/n) stared out the window of his dorm, watching the snow fall to the ground, the rate of which calmed him down to some extent. He hadn't seen Blake since he got back, and it was worrying him. What if she didn't like it? What if she didn't like him in the first place? What if-

The (animal) Faunus jumped at the sound of his door opening. He whipped his head towards the sound, and there stood the amazing Blake Belladonna, her perfect hair cascading down her back. She was wearing what she always did to bed, as was he, and the book he'd given her was peeking out of her pocket. Her bow twitched nervously, and the blush on her face was in danger of setting her face ablaze.
"H-Hi," the boy stammered, turning towards the window again.
"Hey," she cooed, padding towards him. As soon as she was in reach she hopped onto the bed next to him, cuddling up against his semi-toned chest, smiling softly.
"Did you like the gift?" He asked after a minute of loving tranquility. Blake giggled, smiling wider.
"Of course I did, honey. I was just hoping that I could share the chocolate you gave me, what with that sweet tooth of yours."
A moment of silence.
"Sorry I didn't get you anything," she mumbled softly. She was honestly surprised to hear him chuckle.
"What do you mean? You're here, right?" As he said that, he pulled her closer to his chest, resulting in her blushing furiously.
"Good point," she squeaked.
Another moment of the two staring out the window at the falling snow.
"You know," Blake mumbled, breaking the silence, "My teammates each had someone to keep up tonight."
"Yeah. Why do you ask?"
"Why not celebrate our love"- Blake paused to give her boyfriend a passionate kiss- " the way Weiss and Neptune did?"
"... I-I have n-no objections," he mumbled after a moment.
Giggling, Blake came in for another kiss, this one more heated than the last.
